Guest aceofrazgriz Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Alright, so the details: Verizon i910, on Wozzer's 6.5 ROM v05. Timezone: New York, USA; EST (-5 GMT); Never left the area of my timezone, much less my state. No issues with system time, and outgoing SMS messages show up in the correct timestamp, right now, 12:49am, but if i received one from ANYBODY right now, it would display 8:49pm... a -4hr difference. Searching the web i've found something about an network timestamp, and a reg key to ignore it and always show local time for the sms timestamp. Tried it, no go. Looked through the registry and played a bit, couldn't find anything. So anyway, anyone know, or have an ideas, on how to get the time to display correctly on SMS messages, remember i'm on a 6.5 rom too. No problems in either the stock or leaked 6.1 roms, can't remember if it was like this on other 6.5 roms either XD

Guest necosino Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 This can happen from time to time. Go into your clock, and change your time to like your visiting location so that it changes your time zone (Leave your home time zone what it should be though). Soft reset and change it back, and test it out; should be fine after that :D
