Guest tomlemes Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Hello everyone, Perhaps I've done something really stupid. I followed these instructions below to flash my UK Orange Samsung Omnia from version BVHH1 to the latest from the Samsung website. http://www.samsung-omnia.org/rom-discussio...h1-to-mshj1/30/ Everything went according to plan and I had the latest firmware on. Great. Then I thought I'd be able to restore my old SPB backup file (taken from before flashing the firmware so that I could get all my old files and data back). First I had to reinstall SPB Backup. Then I restored the backup file. Everything seemed fine. After the restore you have to reset the phone, which I did. Then when it asked me for my password, I entered the usual number but for the first time ever, it wasn't accepted :D . After about 10 goes, it popped up the hint that I must have entered when I first setup the phone. I'm definitely using the correct password, but for some reason it isn't working. Can someone explain? Is there a way out of this? Currently I can't use my phone which is like torture! Any help at all would be very gratefully received. Thanks, Tom
