Backup, flash, restore

I use PPCPimBackup to backup all my stuff, then use it to restore after flashes.

I seem to get the texts fine, and the multimedia, however the pictures/video in the multimedia messages I can't view, it all plays back, for 5 seconds.

Any fix?

He never got MMS working as it is stored weirdly by the OS. I'm not sure if this program is still being worked on because it has been quite some time since 2.8 came out.

I recently found another program which is seems nice but I haven't tried backing MMS up yet. Give it a shot and see if it helps. It's free also so you got beat the price.

I was wondering about how folks are working w/ this cycle. Currently I'm installing all apps to my storage card and backing up to internal my storage.

Other folks doing the same?

I have a SPB Backup License. Think it's a good idea to just continually use this to restore after every flash?

Depends on the changes in the ROM. If there are registry changes and you do a full restore then you will remove the changes and it could cause problems.

I usually reinstall everything after a flash to make sure I get the benefits of the new ROM.
