Guest hfalk Posted June 13, 2009 Report Posted June 13, 2009 Hello! I have some questions regarding windows 6.5. First one: How to get the light in auto mode, in the lookscreen? when I activate my lookscreen, I can't see anything, it is just so dark :D Question 2: The phone is beeping before i get massage(before the massage sound). And when Iam turning on my phone from sleep modus. It is realy annoying, how to fix this?
Guest jason07 Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 (edited) any help, please??!! Solution to problem 1; If you don't already have it, download SCHAP's Advanced Config 3.3 (attached). Once installed, open it and click on Screen -> Backlight Lock Level (bottom option) Then choose either 'Always Bright' or 'Always bright until call' This should keep the backlight on when your phone is locked. Hope it helps.Advanced_Configuration_Tool_v3.3.cab Edited June 16, 2009 by jason07

Guest Michael122w Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Hfalk - Did this work for you? I am using Sectors T1 6.5 Rom and I can not get the back light to come on in the lock screen (unless I require a password). Did it work on your device? Michael

Guest jason07 Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 (edited) Mmm I think I was wrong sorry guys. Caption under the option says "Changes backlight behavious while entering the unlock code"... So yeah, this will only apply if you also use a password once you unlock the screen (the backlight will be on the whole time, even for the slide part). If you don't use a password, then I don't know if it's possible to brighten the screen. Edited June 17, 2009 by jason07
Guest hfalk Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Hi I used password, but if you don't use password, can you always brighten the screen by taping the end-call button;)
Guest jason07 Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 Hi I used password, but if you don't use password, can you always brighten the screen by taping the end-call button;) Nah they don't just want to turn the backlight on, they want it to be bright (WM6.5 defaults to a really dim backlight when the screen is locked, presumably to save battery power... but if you're in any sort of bright conditions you cant see the screen at all)
