Which setting to change on sountester?

Voice and audio recording through the mic is inaudible. Even if I scream at the mic, when I play it back, the sound is a mere murmur. The recorded calls are loud though.

This is via Notes and Resco Audio Recorder trial. Both are same.

I'm not sure this can be done with the soundtester tool. If yes, which setting should I change and to what sort of value?

Yes.

The setting is MicroPhoneBooST (MPBST). This works for either the HEADSET (wired) or HANDSET profiles in SoundTester.
