Guest dbol Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 How can I do this if the Task Switcher is not one of my choices in the bottom box? (Settings --> Personal --> Buttons)
Guest ardvarkofdoom Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 (edited) Either A.) It's installed and placed as a gesture... i.e. The rom that I'm running has it cooked in so that if you drag your finger from the bottom of the screen to the top, it will open up TS or B.) the rom that you are running left it out or you accidentally deleted it somehow.... in which case look for one of the file repositories and get the cab :D EDIT: About the gesture... even though it's installed, it doesn't show up on the list. Found that out when I ran into the same problem that you have Edited June 16, 2009 by ardvarkofdoom
Guest maf107ezk0 Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 You can show it in the list by copying the shortcut from /Windwos TaskSwitcher to /Windows/Start Menu/Programs. After you do that and go to settings - Buttons it`ll be there :D

Guest thedude79 Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 I'm looking to do the same thing, but with the task manager from SPB Mobile Shell. Does anyone know where that task manager file is located?
Guest Anusha Dharmasena Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 I'm looking to do the same thing, but with the task manager from SPB Mobile Shell. Does anyone know where that task manager file is located? Well, for me, MS3's Task Manager shows up in the buttons page...right in the bottom. It should be shown as [Task Mgr].
Guest jason07 Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Yeah it's just in the Programs list when you go to assign button actions. Pretty much all of the different pages/options in SPB3 are there... except for the really cool things like contacts carousel lol

I'm running the 3.0.1 release, and the CC20 rom. The only task manager that shows in that menu is the windows default one. Should I re-install SPB?
Guest dbol Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 ardvarkofdoom is right if you are using my rom just swipe your finger from bottom to top and it pulls up a task manager Yes I am using yours, and I am aware of that feature. My stock original Verizon FW also did the same thing, but I wanted to avoid unnecessary finger prints. :D
Guest thedude79 Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 Reinstalled SPB Mobile shell and the option to assign [Task Mgr] reappeared.
