Try the reset button? Also, I found my Omnia goes into pepetual sleep mode whenever I have WIFI turned on & it goes to sleep. Might wanna check your power options.

reset botton does reset the device but then it does the same, doesnt come back from sleep, i know hard reset may fix the problem but it took me two weeks to install and configure the set the way it is now, and it seem really heart breaking going through all that again :D .

i have also the same issue. before i had fingerkeyboard ver 2.1 installed, never got this problem.. but a few days ago, it seems like my omnia is extremely slow waking up.

i called the fone, and it rings, it took 10 to 15 seconds just the screen to light up, 5 more secs to show that there is a call on the taskbar, (but still no real incomming call display).

then after 30 more secs the unlock button appears at the bottom of the screen, and click that will take another 2 min so that i can get the option to unlock, even after that it is extremely slow, as if it is overloaded adn respons is almost dead.

have to soft reset all the time. :D

anybody know the reason for this issue and a possible fix?

What ROM are you guys using? More than likely, it's being caused by an unstable firmware / hacked ROM.

My Omnia does the same thing. Started when I flashed to Wozzer's v5. CC20 worked fine. As soon as I switched over to wm6.5, the problems started flying in! She is a beauty though! LOL

Yea I am using WoZZers v5 as well and this happens a few times a week to me. I have installed a few apps... I thought I remember seeing somewhere that people using TouchPal have seen this issue. Maybe we can all find a common app that we use that can help narrow down the problem. Or maybe it is just the beta leaked OS retro-fitted on a beta leaked ROM! (lol).

Well, I installed TouchPal today, and the problem definitely existed prior to today.

I was pondering the possibility that it might be GAlarm, but I believe my issues started before I installed that too...

actually i am using the official DZIA5 frimware, nothing hacked in it. just some reg edits, installed some apps. but the system is as original as it gets.

same here, all official. Only thing unofficial is iGo8, but im pretty sure I had these issues before installing that. Apart from that it isnt really installed either ^^.

Anyways, it doesnt wake up if I leave my WiFi on, or any other larger application, such as KinomaFreePlay.

I don't know... my Omnia just saw a hard reset 2 days ago, and the very same day, after installing my suite of software, the problems started again... I'm inclined to believe its a running process in the background; I just have yet to figure out what it is.

I have an i910 with original firmware. I have noticed that it happens if I leave pocketmusic on, or skyfire. I have used galarm from the beginning, so I wonder if that is part of the problem. I love my phone, but it is kinda annoying that I have to softreset it 1-2 times a day.

Mine froze like 5 times yesterday. I un-installed touchpal ( :D ) and it did not freeze once today. Probably just coincidence, we'll see what happens tomorrow...

Get a pencil with a good, fresh eraser on it. Pink works the best. Take your battery out. Rub the eraser on the contacts of the battery, and on the contacts in the back of the phone. Blow off any dust and put the battery back in. It might work, might not but its a cheap way to try to fix the problem. It worked for me when i had similar issues a while ago.

Hmm, interesting strategy. I'll try it out.

I disabled TouchFlo, thinking that might be the problem, but it wasn't. :D

Will continue to uninstall apps until I find the culprit.
