Guest Chad Petree Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 Does it exist? i've been wanting to try this program for so looong
Guest scoiattolo Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 (edited) Does it exist? i've been wanting to try this program for so looong Yes it does exist, main thing being the screen resolution adapted to Omnia (WQVGA). Please search in the forum for Shazam and/or Music-ID and you will find it. Quite easy I think... If you had done a smple search you would have found for example this: http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...5/music-id-app/ Please remember that it may not work in your Country or with your Operator. Guest jason07 Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 MusicID from Shazam works well for me. It looks different to versions I've seen on iPhones, but still works :D See screenshots. Cab file attached.MusicID_QVGA_by_Q_L.CAB

Guest dirty83sanchez Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 this one works for me. http://www.modaco.com/index.php?act=attach...st&id=30912
Guest jason07 Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 this thing cant recognize anything i tried 2pac songs and it didnt find it !! It might depend on sound quality..? Sometimes it cant recognise my songs on my laptop coz the speakers are shite, but in the car or from a stereo its pretty good.
Guest Mr. B! Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 Works good for me as well. I can't get it to recognize any song I sing myself :D , but if i put it up to a speaker or use it in the car I'd say it recognizes 9 out of 10. It's even recognized a few dance/techno songs.
Guest TheDrizzle Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 Cool! I was looking around for this, thanks, I'm gonna try it out.
Guest wackyiraqi Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 Does this application still work? I am not sure if it is just my omnia but it was working fine a little while ago..
Guest Sii Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 the java one still works, recognizes 8/10 songs i try to ID.
Guest AkWngnut Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 (edited) how were you able to get the java one too work? mine says it cant "Could not obtain required resources." Thanks for your help. -AkWingnut Sorry forgot you needed both files loaded...... Edited June 25, 2009 by AkWngnut
Guest TheDrizzle Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 It is not working for me :D As soon as I hit listen, it says "Sorry Music ID could not be completed" almost immediately.... and is there any way to set those stupid security warnings to "always" that popup at the beginning? What Java client are the people that got to work using? JBed or JBlend or another one?
Guest biff6789 Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 What java music id program are you guys using? I've tried MusicID above and it doesn't work too well and would like to try out the java program you guys are talking about

What Java client are the people that got to work using? JBed or JBlend or another one? Personally I tried the *.cab file and it would not work for me, couldnt figure out the name of the music, it tried just did not work. I installed the *.jad and *.jar file then ran the *.jad file and it installed perfectly. I use AT&T and tried it while driving and it picked the song off the radio pretty quickly -AkWingnut

I installed both (using JBlend) and when I run the program I still get the "Could not obtain required resources" warning Here are the steps I followed in case it helps you understand why it isn't working for me 1) Using JBlend 2) Installed the 2kb .jad file from post #5 above 3) Installed the 216kb .jar file from post #5 above, whereupon it tells me it installed successfully 4) Ran MuscID in JBlend 5) "Could not obtain required resources" A cookie to anyone who can help me figure this out :D Edited June 26, 2009 by Eschelon
Guest f16viper Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 (edited) I have the Omnia I910 on Verizon (W/ Unlock ROM installed). The only Song ID that worked for me was "AM Music ID" found here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BUZ9QCCA. All others would not conect to Shazam corectly. Hope this helps.MusicID.CAB Edited July 12, 2009 by f16viper
