I move to an Omnia from a Titan XV6800 and had M2D there so I figured with the extra memory on the Omnia it would work better. But I don't want a ROM, isn't there just a CAB install for M2D? I guess my question is whether that only runs on HTC devices. If not, does anyone know of an M2D cab file installer that works on the Omnia? Chimp (Tom)

No, you shouldn't. I haven't had any of those problems. You can uninstall it anyway. Here's the creator's page - with more details: http://winmo.sztupy.hu/m2daio.html

PDA :i900DFHL1/DFHL1 and PHONE: i900XXHL1 Nah, I'm on Taril's DXIA5 and haven't bothered to update as everything works fine, and I don't have time to experiment atm. My stock rom was the default Optus - PDA: i900DTHJ9/DTHJ9 Phone: i900XXHJ1 and it really sucked: terrible battery life, video camera always corrupted etc etc. I don't think you should have any problems installing the m2d cab without hardresetting, however do bear in mind that it takes ~25-30mb of device memory...(well, a lot anyway) As for autorotation - the issue is that M2D doesn't support landscape mode properly, making the interface unusable until you rotate it back to portrait. To prevent this, I use qbus's Rotation Service http://www.modaco.com/content/forum/276388...-version-1-7-4/, or alternatively you could try OmniaOrientation http://www.modaco.com/content/forum/285421...niaorientation/. ...and iGO8 works perfect for me =]
