I've been using the 2.0 for 2 days now. it works a lot better on the i910 than the previous versions did. I haven't really noticed any ill battery affects either.

You can find it here and its works on WM6.5 titanium.

http://ac-s2.com/

Unfortunately, for me does not lock on incoming call. Normal system notification shows up, regardless to setting in S2U.

Thats a pity, because SMS preview is GREAT...

Noticed they got rid of GDI under the graphics. Now when the screen turns off and I wake it up it shows the home screen for a split second before going to S2U2. GDI graphics didn't do that. Pity

Mate I have it set to Direct Draw and when phone wakes up it goes direct to s2u2 lock screen, I don't see any home screen at all?

Also does anyone know how to get my GPS software as an exception so when running the s2u2 will not lock?

Thanks Brendan

@corwest - I have the same issue, it flashes to the unlocked state for a split second before s2u2 shows up. It seems to work correct sometimes, but I can't seem to pin down the circumstances when it does. Any help would be apprechiated.

@jenben - You need a registry editor (PHM registry editor is what I use) on your phone and you can add "exception" apps under the S2U2 registry key. Using the registry tool, go to \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\A_C\S2U2\Exceptions and just add the exact name of the EXE that should surpress s2u2. I believe it is case sensitive too.

There are a few settings in the Advanced portion of S2U2 Settings that will help with this, right now I've got mine set up with "on wake delay" is off, "display mode" to raw and "dont suspend power" to on. Now not sure how many other than the "on wake delay" affect it but i know that before with just that set to off i was still occasionally get the home screen for a second. right now it's working as it should.

I like the themes option. Anyone know a good place to download themes for S2U2?

BTW, I'm on Wozzer's WM6.5 with M2D ROM and it works great.

So my first issue with v2.01 was discovered today. A call came in and I got a call box that was chopped off at the bottom, meaning there were no answer or ignore keys to push ( I don't use the S2U2 call features, just the slide to unlock function). I was able to press where I thought the answer soft key would have been and the phone did answer. However, this is something I never saw with v1.62 that I used for a while. I have a new i910 with MS3 and cc20 ROM, and have been running v2.01 of S2U2 since Friday or so. I've only seen this chopped off window once so far.

How do I keep listening to music on touch player when S2U2 is running and is in blank screen?

When I first set up s2u2 I set it up to show sms on the lock screen which at the first time I tested worked very well with the pop up blue balloon on the lock screen that you could read without unlocking the device. Now today I received an sms and it didn't show up, and did not even show up on the spb 3.0 lifestyle screen sms part.

But where it did show was on the win mo task bar so for the life of me I cannot work out why all of a sudden without changing any settings that I have lost this feature??

Is anyone else having this same problem?

Now I have it fixed, all it was is in the settings/phone there is a setting called "Always hide system incoming pop-up" which for some reason must have turned this setting to on.

Just wasn't looking for this as it is a new feature in the 2.01 version.

In the meantime it cost me $$$$ to send test sms to my self lol

been using it for a few days now. noticed that the wallpaper cannot be added properly. wanted to select a animated gif file, and could not do it within the app settings itself, had to edit the path in the registry and then it works fine. besides why is it not possible to have the installation files placed on the memory card? even if u choose the memory card as installation place during the setup process, it will always install it to the device memory.

and 1 other thing i noticed,, its rather difficult to find proper gfx for the wqvga version. been looking around and all is either vga or qvga.

i am mainly looking for a system.png file with some nice icons on it and a notification.png and also if possible to add operator logo. there are already some operator logos ( like orange etc...but i would like to add my own custom)

Mate just been perusing the net and found this.

edit the registry, under \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\A_C\S2U2, find the key DisplayMode

3. set it to 0, 1 or 2 (0 is RawBuffer, 1 is DirectDraw & 2 is GDI)

4. start iLock2 & S2U2.

Havn't tried it but it looks like GDI is 2 so if you want try it

Any problems with the Caller ID??

The other versions eg 1.52, 1.6x doesn't work well with Omnia except for 1.45 which I'm still using...

Cheers.

I think it work's better then in those versions.

Until today worked well but i think that the problem today was a result of low memory.

So i say it's worth a try

I used this new version throughout the weekend and didn't run into any caller ID troubles like previous versions.
