Guest Ace16 Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 I got my first smartphone (samsung i1910) from verizon. i was wondering if anybody could help me with removing any/all stock programs it comes with. i dont need/want office mobile, appzone, or anything like that. also, how could i have designate my 8gb storage card as the phones primary memory, i feel like my device is always getting filled so quickly. im new to smartphones and im really just trying to see how much potential this phone has.

The only way to get rid of those programs is to flash your phone with another ROM. If you feel that you need to do this then start at this thread. http://www.modaco.com/content/i910-specifi...m-verizon-i910/ Read this forum and understand what the process is. Read the forum again to make sure that you got the process down. Now you can flash to a cooked ROM that will help to make your device all it can be. You can not designate your storage card as the primary memory. Windows Mobile doesn't work that way. You can install most programs to your My Storage or a storage card. That will help but unless you flash you need to be aware of what you install and how it will affect your device.
Guest 70blzr Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 keep reading the forums, and when you start flashing the rom, follow all the guidlines and don't rush yourself.
