Guest Paul Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 On 24th June, 2009 at 11:30AM BST HTC are holding a launch event in London, and we'll be there, covering it live! It is anticipated that the event will be Android focused (but we don't really know) and you can join in the action with a 'coveritlive' liveblog from around 11:30 AM onwards, bringing you all the news as it breaks! See you there, er, here! :D Phttp://www.coveritlive.com/index2.php/option=com_altcaster/task=viewaltcast/altcast_code=a87a3dfa25/height=500/width=800" scrolling="no" height="500px" width="800px" frameBorder ="0" >HTC Launch Event
Guest JTopaz Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Is this live blog working for anybody? The event has started...
Guest penguin Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 nope my guess is lack of an internet connection at the event
Guest Jakob Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Was that all? Nothing else but the HTC Hero in the launch event? Talk about dissapointment. :D What the heck happened to HTC. They used to be in the front row, but they absolutely not leading the pack anymore.

Paul: Any more thoughts on an Android compile of CamerAware?
Guest Paul Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Android CamerAware is in development now... P
Guest Jakob Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 What do you base that opinion on? They're releasing top of the line Windows Mobile devices and Android devices... Paul: They have released nothing but PDA´s for the last two years, apart from two brick sized QWERTY phones. Where is the progressive hardware department, releasing a PHONE ? Android is just another OS - why not stick with something they allready have and develop some interesting hardware? Where is the phone with a good long standbytime ~ a week Where is the phone with GPS and compass? Where is the phone with 3,2MP camera and flash ? Where is the phone that supports SIP ? /J
