Guest necosino Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Alright, so as the title suggests, I cannot for the life of me uninstall M2D and I'm thinking it'll come down to a manual uninstall. I try uninstalling through Remove Programs to no avail... Has anyone else run into this? Or have any idea what files/reg settings are needed to remove M2D 19b?
Guest Cooper3950 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 I could be wrong but I think it needs a hard reset. You could always flash it with something else right? Some of the clowns on here flash their phone daily so go for it!
Guest necosino Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Clowns 'eh? /hides behind a barrier...
Guest Turborepu Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 hard reset is the easiest way, or you could delete all the files and registry entries manually. there was a thread on here about it i think.

Guest Cooper3950 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 :D I knew that would get a response. It's been hard to not try ALL of the ROMs.
Guest TheDrizzle Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 You can just uncheck it in the today screen setup and you won't even know it is installed. If device memory is this issue, you can do a manual uninstall, but it is a bit tedious. Get the original CAB file, copy it to your Desktop machine, and extract it to a folder using WinRar. In the folder there should be an XML file of each file it installed and where. You will have to manually delete each file. This does not clean up the reg keys though. There is no "Uninstall" for M2D, as far as I know.
Guest necosino Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 That's what I did actually, then used a reg cleaner to clean up the registry.. But now I kinda want the M2D media player and picture viewer back :D
