Guest gianton Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 You should do your homework and read 1st post in Khuanchai's thread before you open up a thread.
Guest RodmanPT @ OMNIA Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 I have one of his ROM's installed, and running smoothly without problems. You should think twice before opening a topic like this. Kuabchai works hard (like others) to bring us the best ROM's, so a little respect would be appreciated.

Guest shokka9 Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Please don't disgrace singaporeans, they have high literacy rate. Or are you simply to lazy to read post#1 FULLY, being a leech monster? Go read post 1 fully again and do something on your settings, then after resolving, come here and make a public apology!! SHOO!! Yes go SHOO!! like buyaoxiao says.... I really hate it when people do this...create a thread solely to say something doesnt work. 99% of the time it is because they dont read the posts, or havent set their phone or their phone is mashed.... Either way, it is not Khaunchai's fault or any other chef...We make ROMs, if they work for us, they will work for you. It is same god damn ROM whether updated here (in UK) or in China...It will work the same... Now SHOO away!!

This forum should implement a reputation / point system.. such irresponsible behaviour would enable users to minus their points into oblivion and make them unable to download files/write post!!
Guest shokka9 Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 thats a good idea...maybe someone should look into it :D

Guest buyaoxiao Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Scream for Paul.. But if that happens, we would lose all the fun giving hilarious & sarcastic answers ... what am i gonna do with all these free time?
Guest XtremeMaC Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 (edited) this sort of thing happens in all the forums, everyone, once or twice can make this mistake. I really don't think you guys will be helping anyone by bashing and making rude comments. most often the cook's roms have detailed explanation and such a huge post to read. its very easy to skip a portion even if u read it twice. and seeing he's a newbie its pretty understandable he just flashed it and had problems. yes i do agree on how he generalized "all come with problem" but lets give that to his poor english.. so everyone calm down and think of the things u did when u were a newbie! and did not have all the time in the world! and point him in the right direction Edited June 24, 2009 by XtremeMaC
Guest fane Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 What is happening is that people are still buying Omnias, new or second hand. Then they jump here and see for example Sectors thread with more than 300 pages and of course they skipp it to be honest i would do the same if i were a newbie. So the important thing is for these new people to read the FIRST post of rom thread. It has huge information about what to do,possible bugs etc.
Guest wisdome416 Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 hey hotlink, why so quiet??? say somthin, APOLOGIZED!!!
Guest forelli Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 GPRS cannot online WIFI cannot online faint hey hotlink, a few things in order to get the information you want fast and efficiently: 1. Ask your question in the thread where you've downloaded the rom from 2. Don't generalize any cook work based on your own information: again, ask in the thread to others Omniacs if it's only you or does it happen to other people. 3. Change the title of your thread, it's insulting for the cook: everybody can make a mistake (including you), there's a disclaimer in the first post of the cooks' thread, and do your homework, read and make the explanation post (usually the 1st, sometimes the 2nd one) UNDERSTANDABLE for you meaning translate it or ask a friend to do it for you, and again, if you don't know how to, we don't bite, just ask, it's a community, we won't ask you for money neither to give you informations. In your case, I would suggest that you perform a hard reset, flash again your phone, and well, apologize by changing the title of this thread by something like: Connection problems, help needed! forelli
Guest XtremeMaC Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 go to settings > connections > operator settings change it to anything other than your actual service provider. click ok. wait for 10 seconds or so. then go to operator settings again and select your actual service provider. select okay and see if that works.
