Guest Draconius Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 I have been rocking Wozzer roms for a couple months now, and my GPS is still not as awesome as everyone is saying. I have location turned on, sat outside for 20 minutes, got a lock, and when I close it, and need to use GPS again it takes another 10-20 minutes to get a lock. How is it people are getting 20second locks? Any help would be SEVERELY appreciated!
Guest necosino Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 I don't do anything special, to be honest. When I know I am going somewhere, I just open my GPS program before I put my shoes on, and by the time I get to the door, it has a lock. Likewise if I'm getting into my car, I turn on GPS before starting the car and putting my seatbelt on, and by the time that's done, I have a lock :D All of this probably takes 15-30 seconds, but I am near a major military installation (Fort Drum, NY)
Guest eufouria Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 I would suggest using the GPSToday program or today plugin, it has made a world of difference for my locks.
