First of...HI ALL GUYS!

This is my first message on the forum. I used to read/write on XDA but now then I left home my Diamond and buyed a (fabulous) omnia I decided to "move" essentially here to this, as I could saw since now, great community.

Now, my simple(?) request:

I recently flashed my omnia with a clean (based on DXID1) rom founded somewere in a thai forum - I know, maybe I'm a little crazy :D - that swit almost perfectly my needs (no keyboard, no opera, no useless programs, ecc...).

The only one matter is that the chef who made it didnt' simply "diable" (by reg entry) the samsung phonepad...HE TOTALLY REMOVED IT!!!

So...I need a .cab file to install it (samsung dialer) otherwise, as you know for sure, I connot make any videocall.

I searched a lot for it, here on modaco, on other forums, googling for it, ecc...but: nothing!

Could someone upload it? Or simply point me to a place where I can download this CAB file?

TIA

Just in case.... If the dialer still doesn't enable after installing that CAB, then you should install this one. They may be the same thing, but I saw this topic and thought that it might be helpful.

Why don't you try the Omnia Lite dialer? I find it nicer than the original one, particularly in combo with the phonebook and call log.

Here's the link to the post:

it works perfect on WM 6.5 for me...

I am currently using this original dialer on wm6.5 build 21889. This should also work on other builds.

Edit: attachment failed to load in original message. found out why, max allowed is only 4.88Mb, original dialer is about 9MB in size.

If someone could introduce lock screen on call in the lite dialer (or in any other dialer) I'd be happy to forget the samsung one.

Locking the screen doesn't work with smartlock and s2us for me..never did work actually, despite all the tips I got and all the ROMs I've tried.
