To hard reset IS to clear out..?

Other than that, you can go to Remove Programs and uninstall everyone one at a time?

I guess I'm not really sure what else you mean by "Clear Out"

If you mean programs that came with Omnia, then you need to flash to a custom ROM. Read carefully all pinned related topics about flashing your Omnia at Omnia i900 section.

Good luck and welcome aboard!

That actually is what I meant, can you explain to me what exactly flashing a ROM means?

I can give you my "dumbed down" version of what flashing means...not because you're dumb, but because this is my understanding of it and I am dumb.

There's a hardwired chip inside your phone (the ROM) which contains the phones operating system and a lot of preinstalled programs that you can't uninstall like the samsung clock, remote desktop, shozza, messaging, VZNavigator, VZApps, etc.

Then you have the space where you can install other applications like skyfire, galarm, spb mobile shell 3, etc.

If you want to get rid of programs that are on the ROM you have to "flash" it since you can't "un-install" them, which means writing to the chip inside your phone. It's kinda like reprogramming your phone at the manufacturer versus installing/uninstalling a program.

Now I'm a crack smoking idiot and it only took me a couple of minutes to flash mine to Wozzers naked rom. It was scary at first, but the phone works a lot better, the only thing on it is pretty much exactly what I wanted to have on it without a bunch of useless stuff i never use.

Hope that helps.

Thanks that helped a lot actually. So for instance, I hate Opera. If I find a ROM that doesn't contain that, and I flash my ROM with that, I wont have Opera anymore?
