I became a member just for this and I absolutely love the fix. It works like a charm! Thanks Adrynlayne - you are beyond awesome. By the way it takes less time to become a member than it takes to wait for the GPS to find its sats without the fix.

Hey Adrynalyne - I just bought you a brew!! Thanks for the fix, my friend.

Is this only for the i910, or does it also work for the i900

i900 users need not apply. They have a much better app for this, via GPS_Xtra.

i still think you should join the site its a very good community especially for i910 users

Hmm. Enhanced Gps setting pretty much does the same thing ?

I got a lock sitting on my couch. It locked in less than 30 secs. It used to take at least 5 minutes and I had to be in my driveway.

Thanks Adrynlyne!!!!

i900 users have a better program available, I think it's called QPST or something like that :D

Did you open IE or Opera first. You have to have a connection to the internet. I don't know about the 7 days check box. I connected with it unchecked and checked and it doesn't seem to make difference (or at least what I can see)

Works great!!!

Adrynalyne: Did you write this app? If so, could you create an automated version that does its thing when run without any user interaction, and then quits... ultimate would be logging to a log file too, so reults can be reviewed later if something goes wrong.

With a version like this, we can simply create a scheduled notification using SKTools or equivalent to automatically run on some interval (say, daily, every 3 days, whatever).

No I didn't write it.

I'll take credit for finding it, but thats where it stops. ;)

This app is ooold, from WM5 days.

Check the ppcgeeks thread, I found an even better app.

Sure, unless you are a Verizon i910 user.
