Guest Sunil Gangwani Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 (edited) I think its worth becoming a member, even if just to download it. I became a member just for this and I absolutely love the fix. It works like a charm! Thanks Adrynlayne - you are beyond awesome. By the way it takes less time to become a member than it takes to wait for the GPS to find its sats without the fix. Hey Adrynalyne - I just bought you a brew!! Thanks for the fix, my friend. Guest MrJoneswii Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 (edited) Is this only for the i910, or does it also work for the i900 Edited June 30, 2009 by MrJoneswii
Guest Adrynalyne Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 i900 users need not apply. They have a much better app for this, via GPS_Xtra.

Guest illusion786 Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 Hmm. Enhanced Gps setting pretty much does the same thing ?
Guest reaver76 Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 I got a lock sitting on my couch. It locked in less than 30 secs. It used to take at least 5 minutes and I had to be in my driveway. Thanks Adrynlyne!!!!
Guest FerdiBorbon Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 im getting a httpSendRequest failed 12007 (error) whats up with that i just ticked 7 days then connect :D
Guest necosino Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 im getting a httpSendRequest failed 12007 (error) whats up with that i just ticked 7 days then connect ;) i900 users have a better program available, I think it's called QPST or something like that :D
Guest reaver76 Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 im getting a httpSendRequest failed 12007 (error) whats up with that i just ticked 7 days then connect :D Did you open IE or Opera first. You have to have a connection to the internet. I don't know about the 7 days check box. I connected with it unchecked and checked and it doesn't seem to make difference (or at least what I can see)
Guest dwallersv Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 Works great!!! Adrynalyne: Did you write this app? If so, could you create an automated version that does its thing when run without any user interaction, and then quits... ultimate would be logging to a log file too, so reults can be reviewed later if something goes wrong. With a version like this, we can simply create a scheduled notification using SKTools or equivalent to automatically run on some interval (say, daily, every 3 days, whatever).
Guest Adrynalyne Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 No I didn't write it. I'll take credit for finding it, but thats where it stops. ;) This app is ooold, from WM5 days. Check the ppcgeeks thread, I found an even better app.
Guest Adrynalyne Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 Hmm. Enhanced Gps setting pretty much does the same thing ? Sure, unless you are a Verizon i910 user.
