Guest NewKlNGjames Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 When my alarm went off this morning i had a message telling me that my license had expired for galarm. I went to there website to see what was going on and I saw that they are now charging 4.99 after a 10 day trial. Since I am a big fan of freeware I am now looking for the best alternative program. I just installed Klaxon and it looks pretty good. claims to have accelorometer and light sensor support. Anyone have anything else that they are using?
Guest yojoe600 Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 ive always love g-alarm and this maked me kinda upset since im broke

Guest syrguy1969 Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 i have been using G-alarm v1.5.1 for far more than ten days now. PM me for the goods. Any version before 2.0 is still free and always will be. I have been using 1.4.7 ? around there) since it came out, and it is still more reliable that any pay one I have tried.
Guest Mr. B! Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 samsung clock ;) I never liked galarm personally.
Guest necosino Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 samsung clock :D I never liked galarm personally. I like the maze-to-close. Otherwise I just hit snooze and fall right back to sleep, and usually sleep through the subsequent snoozes. Fortunately the different alarm tones seem to wake me up better ;)

Guest sys_error Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 I love G-Alarm, so is my wife... EURO$4.99 is small amount to thank those folks for their hard work. Even a glass of plain water + slice of bread every morning for 1 full year also cost more than EURO$4.99 ;)
Guest yojoe600 Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 i dont like samsung clock it never woke me up like g alarm
Guest endursa Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 you can always use g-alarm 1.5.1 (latest freeware) but you won't get any new features, thats the deal!
Guest Chris H11 Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 I just use the Windows Mobile Alarm, it wakes me up and that's all that matters...
Guest Mr. B! Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 (edited) I don't know, I really liked Samsung Clock. We already know why I don't like galarm ;) The WinMo alarm sucked imho...no reason...just didn't like it. But back onto the topic, have you checked out http://www.pocketpcfreeware.com/en/index.p...=22&sortby= I think you can still download the freeware version of galarm, and there are a number of other freeware alarm type programs there as well. You might also want to try: http://www.pocketpcfreeware.com/en/index.p...=22&sortby= http://freewareppc.com/clock/clock.shtml And then there's always the apps at handandgo: http://www.handango.com/catalog/SoftwareCa...p;startIndex=41 You could always give your boss your cell number and I'm sure he'll call repeatedly to wake you up if you oversleep. :D Edited July 1, 2009 by Mr. B!
Guest syrguy1969 Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 The only real differences between the free version and the current pay version are a couple new features (talking clock and being able to adjust sleep time easily being the two biggest I can think of right now) is a little slicker UI!! If you really don't want to 'donate' that $5, your really not losing anything except a slightly easier to use alarm with sticking with the free version!! ;)
Guest jbr05ki Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 Omnia Hub still has the older version. http://Read the site rules no warez links or requests/g-alarm-for-omnia/
Guest xxmadhatter Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 KLAXON. pretty much same as g-alarm. i like it better myself. extremely simple. only has what you need. plus its free and able to work with the omnia without any dll changes or anything
