Guest xDanVitox Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 Hey I was wondering if there is a way to get VZ Nav to work in the cooked roms that have removed it because I really like a couple of these roms but I also personally really like VZ Nav. Thanks. ;)
Guest necosino Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 Open IE and go to the default VZ homepage Select VZNavigator and accept the terms or whatever, and it will download and install ;)
Guest xDanVitox Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 well for one thing there is no link that i see in the VZ start page and i have the cab of the newest version and it installs and gps is on but it will not run it starts and does the privacy policy then says there's an error and terminates it.
Guest Slick86 Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 VZ NAv is disabled from verizon on the cc20 release. THis is to keep their network secure
Guest bga7x Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 VZ NAv is disabled from verizon on the cc20 release. THis is to keep their network secure Works On my rom!!!
Guest xDanVitox Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 but some roms work and some don't and this is with cc20 base..
Guest thrawn72 Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 Opera takes you to the Vzr start page with the icon to click the download. It dose not show up for me on IE, at lest not directly. And it works on my ROM so it should work on Adrynalyne's to seeing its his Kitchen I'm using, but I haven't tried it on his.
Guest xDanVitox Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 yeah right now i have adrynalyne's latest 6.5 rom and it won't work.. it sucks cause i love this rom and am paying for nav soo
Guest Adrynalyne Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 Not sure what you are doing wrong--I am using VZNav at this moment. Maybe bga7x will be a nice guy and upload the cab he has ;)
Guest xDanVitox Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 (edited) mmm idk.. i've tried pretty much all of yall's roms and it's worked on some and not on others.. it just starts up asks about what time of day i want to allow it gps and at the end of that dialog it says there's an error and that it cannot save the privacy policy then it starts to exit and says there's a problem initializing the gps and to restart it.. but i the gps in google maps can find me just fine..
