Guest elliotboney Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 (edited) Hey all, I have a weird problem that I haven't been able to figure out. It doesn't matter what rom I am using, when I plug in my omnia to USB to activesync, it pops up: User Information Please correct your Exchange Server credentials Then it has username of 'Default' with a blank password and the server is the name of my computer. Here is the thing, I can just click 'Done' and it will sync fine, but what is annoying is that this message pops up CONSTANTLY which makes it REALLY annoying if I am trying to do anything while my phone is connected to my computer. I have searched high and low and can't find anyone else that has had this problem. TIA for any help! eL Edited July 3, 2009 by elliotboney

Guest elliotboney Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 Yeah, i found one... then later on down the line i did something that made it come back, then of course, i FORGOT what i did... Gonna try to figure out what it is, it was something about reinstalling outlook in windows... I had installed the NEW ms office, then went back to the old one cause the new outlook doesn't support activesync.. BAM, screwed again... I think i got it! I used a registry editor and set HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ActiveSync\Partners\{8FC7A7AB-4BFA-44D2-914D-13D5313EF4E2}:ClientReset to 1 when i went to sync, it told me something had changed, it needed to do something, blah blah, select "NO" use regedit to set it back to 0 from 1 voila! fixed it
