Guest StarVision Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Okay , i had fallen love with UMPC and MID. Yeah , so i am trying to look out for possible OS that can be installed on Omnia. 1.Xubuntu. This is the Ubuntu for Low spec computer , so it can run on 64MB RAM. CPU is never a problem for Omnia , this kinda CPU can run Vista already... 2.Win7. Sounds incredible , but someone try to Install Win7 on Intel PentiumII 266Mhz CPU and 128 RAM, it passed. And 64MB ram , passed again. So I think itz gonna be wonderful if Omnia can install Win7...Maybe Win7 can support ARM structure this time round.

Guest aceofrazgriz Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 Win7 has a netbook version, so its possible to run it on a mobile. the problem is hardware support, you won't be able to find drivers that'll work.
