Guest justgeig Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 I've searched and searched and I can't find an answer to this question. If someone knows of a post that has already addressed this, please let me know and shut this one down. A friend of mine has a Samsung Instinct and the haptic feedback on his always vibrates when he touches the screen. On the omnia it's just when you are in certain programs or while typing...I really want to have haptic feedback on ALWAYS. Is there a way?

Guest justgeig Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Look for TouchResponse. Thanks! That looks promising! I can't wait to install it and see how it works

Guest justgeig Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 really buggy works sometimes and certain programs will crash it Yeah, I did install it and it is pretty buggy but if the developer continues work on it, it will be a great piece of software. Thanks everyone
Guest u441105 Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 I haven't had any real problems with TouchResponse but in the places where our phones already have haptic feedback like the keyboard the vibration feels just a little off. I can't really describe it, it feels weaker or like there are two vibrations happening quickly, but I disabled the app as I'd rather have my keyboard vibration feel solid since I use it quite often.
Guest dercetojones Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 Weird. The only problems I have with it are the strangeness felt when combined with apps that have it builtin and it doesn't seem to work for a few seconds after my device wakes up. Not a big deal to me.. been using it since I got my Omnia. I definitely wouldn't call it buggy.
Guest justgeig Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 What would be nice and possibly more stable is to not add vibration to programs but to extend the vibration that is already there in the keyboard and opera to every touch of the screen. Of course, I'm no coder so I could just be blowing smoke lol ;)
