Guest HammerNL Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 (edited) Recently my Omnia LCD screen is replaced for a new one, because of crack in the LCD screen. I thought the repair was successful because there where no strange stripes and cracks in my screen any more. But, because i have a black theme installed i didn’t noticed that after the repair there was still a problem with my screen. The left side of my screen is a bit darker(especially the left bottom), but there are no dead pixels. I have added a photo to make my story more clear. What do you think is the problem? I heard that it could be the screen digitizer and not the brand new lCD screen itself. Edited July 6, 2009 by HammerNL
Guest necosino Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 (edited) This is common with refurbished LCD screens. Call them up and tell them you have dead pixels and want another replacement, a NEW phone, not a refurbished one. Edited July 6, 2009 by necosino
Guest HammerNL Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 I know how deadpixels look like and therefore I am for sure that these are no dead pixels.

I would just call them and tell them what is happening, that the bottom-left corner isn't viewable. It's definitely a hardware issue though..
