Omnia disconnects when screen orientation changes

Using an Omnia i900 (great fun), I have the problem that while talking through the phone and tilting my head a bit, the Omnia feels the rotation and changes screen orientation, while giving a little vibration (as per setup). But often enough during this buzz the Omnia disconnects the line... ;) Damn unhandy!

Is there some tweak available to stop the screen orientation thingy during calls, or any other bright idea???
