what is rom?

i m new to windows mobile..

i have branded Voda fone omnia i900 version i900xxhh1/Achh1

now what will be done if i install a new version of it?

or if i change my version to achh1 to something which is best?

please do answer me m realy confused ;)

what will the Rom do for me..how can i update it?

what will be the process and dangers for iot?

plzzzzzzzzz answerrrrrrrrrrrrr :D plz :)

plz do tell me ..and how can i increase my internal memory? can anybody tel me?

I will strongly recommend you NOT to do that soon. Just use your phone normally, Get used to it and keep reading posts on the blog see the results of adventures like that. Then if u like it be dare and go for it.

hi guys! I am new on this forum, please be so kind and help me regarding the ROM update on my Omnia

I am from Romania, the mobile operator is Vodafone

version I have on Omnia: PDA i900BUHH2/SGHH3 phone: i900BUHG5

Is it possible to make a firmeware update from the official site of samsung or my only chance is with a cooked ROM? I mention that of course Romania is not listed between those countries with available firmewares... First of all I need some extra battery life...

PEOPLE! Please read the PINNED topics at the very top of this ROM section! There, you will find most of the cures for what's ailing you! Most people don't answer threads like this because the answers are already there... in plain sight... and they all have simple names like "HOW TO FLASH YOUR OMNIA". ;)
