activesync and internet access

i have been usually using my omnia with wifi for the internet acces, but now am at a place where i dont have a wifi router but can only acces the internet on my omnia via activesync.

some apps like irisbrowser can connect, but asks me each time at the start to choose another connection and when i choose work, then it connects.

but other apps like web video downloader or opera cant even connect.

i have set the setting in the settings tab- connections-browser connection -to auto detect.

but still doesnt work.

then changed it manually to work, but still nothing, tried the other settings as well but nothing....

anyone knows any idea how i can fix that?

what did u do?

actually u have to change the settings in activesync,, and select this computer connects to: the internet.

then it all works as a charm.

the thing is that some app can connect to different connections on or from the omnia to the internet but some apps can only connect using the " the internet" connection.
