Guest darobman Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 Please help a newb here. Followed Paul's instructions to install 10.5.2 and up to .4 then found the update to .5 using the terminal sleep method. I see some references now to similar instructions to get us to .6. Can someone show me where this is? Thanks!

Followed Paul's instructions to install 10.5.2 and up to .4 then found the update to .5 using the terminal sleep method. I see some references now to similar instructions to get us to .6. Can someone show me where this is? Thanks! Well I did some digging around and found one set of instructions for getting to 10.5.6 and thank goodness .5 was a mess. Slower to boot than .4 and odd errors with certain kexts. Now I am at 10.5.7 and I have created stable disk images for each of my stable versions .4, .5, .6 & .7. Just so I don't have to repeat the steps. I have no odd trackpad or mousepad behavior and now I have uninstalled SwitcherResx and still have 1024x600 (which wasnt showing up on earlier verions). Paul, thanks for the guide! Looking forward now to Snow Leopard. Aloha, Rob
