( a symbian power user ) ==> Is that even a possible being??? :D You know, like a Unicorn or a Mermaid.

Flashing a rom will lose all on the main memory. You will not lose MyStorage or SD card.

I use Sprite BU. It has a provision for restoring to an upgraded rom. However, I have not had good luck with this.

Put as many of your apps on My Storage. Many work well there. Then you just create a shortcut and put that somewhere you want it.

Write down as many of your settings your need to change and options on apps. After a few rom flashes my list for me got pretty good and helped to make starting over go quick.

for 6.1:

1) you will lose stuff you put in main memory

2) yes (well, very recommended)

3) not sure what sprite is but if it's a backup application then as long as it runs in the new rom, you can apply your backup.. things that work in 6.1 will (or should..) work in 6.5 however i'm not exactly sure about sprite itself.

for 6.5:

same answers.
