Guest iforwms Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 I have organised all my start menu items into separate folders and all was well until I soft reset and now when I press the Start button, I get the Honeycomb menu up, but the only item on it is 'Today'. All the shortcuts are still there as I have checked using Resco Explorer, I can also browse the start menu from the M2D 'All Programs' button, but this is a bit sluggish. Any ideas how to restore the Honeycomb Start Menu? Cheers.

If that doesn't work, I would move the .lnk files back into /windows/start menu/programs And see if they appear, and if they do you can start organizing all over.

I had left a few shortcuts of regularly used programs in the /windows/start menu/programs folder, and even they aren't there! I've also tried a few soft resets with no luck, I REALLY don't want to hard-reset again after having just set up my phone to how I want it!!
Guest Dr_StrangeTrick Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Same thing happened to me on my Hermes 6.5 but only on the latest version rom. Same thing, tap start and all that comes up is tpday. Open the programs folder and they are all there. I killed something (sorry cant remember) then soft reset and its been ok.

Can you figure out how it happened? Anything to do with registry? Thanks.
