Guest tedkord Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Is anyone else having Youtube issues? The official app won't play any youtube videos. I get an error message that the required codecs couldn't be found. I've removed/reinstalled several times to try and get it right. No dice. Any ideas? Thanks. Jim

Guest omniaK Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Where can I DL this app?? if you goto youtube through your phones browser of course ;) if youtube recognizes it as a mobile and not a desktop (configure your phones internet browser, oprea defaults in mobile view) you will see a link right below the search bar that says download the YouTube application. also this is an MANY cooked roms by default.

Guest tedkord Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 (edited) hmmm, works fine on my phone...probably my fav app, except I just wish It could use my account so i can see my favs/subscriptions... ;) as for your question are you connected to wifi? maybe the bandwith is being taken up by something else? also what kind of rom are you on? WIFI or EVDO, makes no difference. And I'm on a cooked WM6.5 ROM, one of BGIL55's I believe. However, the youtube app worked last week, and I haven't re-flashed/changed ROMs since. Oh well, I plan on reflashing to a newer ROM this weekend anyway. That should fix it if it's just me that has the problem. Edited July 9, 2009 by tedkord
