How do you upgrade to windows mobile 6.5?

i can't find a 6.5 rom, i know the rom download section but how do you see which rom is mobile 6.5?

I strongly suggest against you doing it. I have the Verizon branded Omnia and tried flashing to a 6.5 rom and bricked my phone. I was able to get a new one at the cost of $50 for insurance. But never again will I flash my Omnia with any roms.

Make sure you do so, bricking an omnia is possible, but only if there is something wrong with the process. I've upgraded the rom on my omnia so many times that I've lost count.

My phone was fubar by a 6.5 rom I got from here, I followed the directions to a T. Nothing happened or got disconnected. When it was done my phone wouldn't turn on and my computer couldn't find the MONAHANS driver. So unless someone finds out a way to fix that somehow without getting the hardware for it, I'll never flash an unofficial ROM again.
