Would like to just update from 6.1 to 6.5 I strongly suggest against you doing it. I have the Verizon branded Omnia and tried flashing to a 6.5 rom and bricked my phone. I was able to get a new one at the cost of $50 for insurance. But never again will I flash my Omnia with any roms.

Make sure that you read the FAQ on the following link: http://www.modaco.com/category/405/i910-sp...rom-discussion/ Make sure you do so, bricking an omnia is possible, but only if there is something wrong with the process. I've upgraded the rom on my omnia so many times that I've lost count. I strongly suggest against you doing it. I have the Verizon branded Omnia and tried flashing to a 6.5 rom and bricked my phone. This does not happen to a lot of us, but to the ones that have, my heart goes to them. There is a lot of great potential on this phone and if one brick stops you then I suggest to wait for the official update before trying out any other roms. By that time, you should know what to do if your phone messes up on the process and what to do about it. You will also have a rom to go back to if you plan on upgrading to something else and need to return the phone.

Nothing happened or got disconnected. When it was done my phone wouldn't turn on and my computer couldn't find the MONAHANS driver. So unless someone finds out a way to fix that somehow without getting the hardware for it, I'll never flash an unofficial ROM again. Edited July 16, 2009 by Titanas
