Guest paulend Posted January 31, 2003 Report Posted January 31, 2003 I dont know what other people think about this matter, but i just think that its a bit inappropriate. im not saying that there is lots on this forum and do not want to sound like a prude, but i just feel that there is no need. no offence intended ;)
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted January 31, 2003 Report Posted January 31, 2003 In principle I agree... do you have an example? P
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 31, 2003 Report Posted January 31, 2003 I think that members should show some self control and most af the time they do. I'm happy with people using *** etc. we know what you mean without it being thrown in our face. This site is for everyone lets keep it that way ;)
Guest paulend Posted January 31, 2003 Report Posted January 31, 2003 no icant really give an example, i just notice it from time to time. Paul ;)
Guest Will Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Personal view here! to be honest although I hate swearing for no reason, I'm happy with people who want to swear using *&^ etc to indicate their annoyance, I don't feel people should be warned or banned for swearing, if it is deemed appropriate, ie just did something to phone and now it's a paperweight etc. Basically if you were in a situation where you would swear in front of workmates, grandparents, policemen you should be allowed to do the same on this forum... There is so much worse than swearing on the net Will
Guest Firaas Posted February 8, 2003 Report Posted February 8, 2003 Seen several instances of swearing, but I've been satisfied that all of them have been with reason in the context...
