Omnia i900 bluetooth headset mic muted

I have 2 bluetooth handsfree devices that work fine with my Nokia.

1 Logitech headset

1 Hitachi GPS with Bluetooth handsfree.

I can pair these devices ok, and am able to hear sound.

However noone can hear me - it is like the mic is muted.

I have tried mute/unmute when making test call - no effect

I have deleted and re-paired both devices - same issue.

I have hard reset and re-pair - same issue

I have checked bluetooth mode as "headset" - and unchecked, re-checked, soft reset etc - same issue.

I called Samsung, but they were unwilling to assist as "outside support boundaries"

The standard wired headset works fine.
