From the website:

The idea behind GPS skinner is to allow any user to customize the application to suit themselves without knowing anything about programming.

A few more things I need to add:

  • Played with it some more, and decided pretty quickly that it's worth the $11US, so I bought it. While I was purchasing it, I noticed that the author's got a deal going where if you submit a good skin, he'll give you a reg code for free.
  • I like his site. Seems like a down-to-earth individual. Straight-shooter, no marketing BS. Also, the site's well thought out, easy to navigate, attractive yet simple design. Why am I writing about this? I don't know, I was just impressed.
  • Don't miss the skin editor -- there's a link on the LH side nav menu. It's free.
