Hi everyone!

I've been watching these forums for ages, and only just signed up to participate! ;)

Anyways as you've read the title of the topic, i want to know what the latest firmware is!?

As i sent my first gen Omnia back (which i had since 17th August last year) and received a new/reconditioned one from Orange UK yesterday, i am currently running the following firmware:

PDA: i900XXIB2/BVIB2

PHONE: i900BVIA1

Its Orange branded, and seems to eat my battery power up like the previous firmware i was running (MSHJ1, last known official uk firmware to work with my previous model)

DXIA5 seems to be the official Philippines release which everyone is raving about, which has near 2-3 days power available, etc

I've also noticed DXIF1 which is being updated on a regular basis, so as you can see the confusion sets in! lol!

I know the current firmware BVIB2 has issues with bluetooth (doesn't open com ports correctly and has no bluetooth services enabled), so its defo buggy and i need to upgrade asap!

We could setup a new thread, or lets get some answers here so we know which firmware to go with.

Thanks! :D

Tom

well i personaly use sector 6.5 roms they always seem to have the best of everything ;) (except finger mouse) but if you want to stick with 6.1 then use the only 165mb dxia5 rom

so i geuss in the end its up to you

- 6.5 if you want to have the latest but there might be some bugs

-6.1 dxia5 if you want to keep it as stock as posibal

or any other that takes your eye

but i say if you dont use finger mouse or want lotso f space and a new look go with 6.5 and follow the directions on how to flash a rom
