Rom to choose

Ok guy's, I'm mostly reading here and finding my answers in other topics.

I think I am just an average user which is once a week on the forum. I install a new ROM once in a few months and try to choose a good one. However I am not able to choose anymore :D.

Well to the point:

I would like a ROM that has the following:

- Fast

- Fast finding contacts and easy dialing and finding contacts

- a handy and good keyboard using my thumb (now I use the keypad which I find not that responsive)

What I use most:

SMS - Calling - GPRS (opera for the moment) - Igo (TomTom maps are better for Europe I think but it is too slow and I still need an external program to get a FIX) - Bluetooth for in the car

(some minor applications)

Which 3in1 or whatever ROM is solid and lightning ;) fast?

There is not one answer for this but I like an input that is based on good experience.

Another strange problem. If I make a copy from my contacts in outlook, export them in a file (excel or csv) and import them back, I lose my +. For example +32473111111 becomes 32473111111. I now use 00 in stead of the + but does this problem appear also by others. (putting a ' before the number in excel doesn't work either :) )

For me the roms from Kuanchai...instead of all i advice you that you try from sector and shokka and decide yourself ...which is the best one for you...i mean you can flash as many times you want...For me the best one is until now the kuanchai LITE 23001 12 MB PAGEPOOL ...fast and with full use 3 days of battery..however there is no good keyboard ...but you always can install the touchpal 4.0 .....

I also never got the internet working on my laptop using Bluetooth with the GPRS of my Omnia ;) :D.

Well I took that ROM. It works but it seems my GPS is always active. Draining the battery and running hot? Is there an issue? PLease help :s

The problem resolved itself after a while. NOt having any issue at all. Battery life is good and the device is fast.
