I do it all the time with Coreplayer. No problems at all. I run an Orb Streaming Media Server on my server at home and stream video content dowloaded via bittorrent, live TV via a Hauppauge PVR150 capture card connected to my DishTV satellite reciever, and my entire music library. Coreplayer is the hands-down best media player, and performs quite well on the Omnia streaming media from any server over the internet.

You're initial posting just doesn't offer enough information to help unless one is familiar with the specific server source you're talking about (Skystar). I don't anything about Skystar, what it is, how you view the media from it, etc. I don't have any idea either what you mean by "streaming ... to my popcorn". That's something I usually eat :-)

Absent details like that, being able to help with the URL you should enter in CorePlayer is impossible.

You own a Hauppauge card, i think that this card only works with its own programme, skystar works with lots of sat player programmes.

İn the link that is in my first post there are pictures that include the whole requıred info for streaming dvbs transmission via DVBVIEWER, PROGDVB, MYTHEATRE, ALTDVB, DVBDREAM..

(i say check out these programmes)

anyway, i'll list the info for you @dwallersv

My server's ip : 192.168.1.100

server port: 5000

I'm running DVBVİEWER as a media server, it sstreams like a unicast and multicast device..

So that i can view a media from all of the clients at the same time. (it really works)

By the way, i meant popcornhour, which is a networked media tank, works as a FTP, samba, torrent device. Almost a computer.

I can access to my computer and see all the movies that i have in my computer, while im sitting at the salon watching tv.

the settings in my computer that i use right now for streaming the transmission is in the pictures in that link.

In my popcorn, i'm using a html file that given below which includes a link for viewing the whole thing.

That is enough i think, if there is a problem pls let me know.
