Please, New Roms with WM 6.1 too!

Hello everyone,

First I'd like to thank everybody that creates this awesome ROMs are help our phones to be the best ever.

In the past few months we have tried Windows Mobile 6.5.

And oh yeah... It has a lot of features that really make me glad again about the phone.

But on the other hand, I WM 6.5 has so many bugs that I can't stand it anymore,

I know going back to 6.1 it would be kind of walking backwards... but I've got to make my programs and features working, and with WM 6.5 they don't /. (I have tried several, always with the latest - kuanchai, sector, wbus, and othee best guys)

so here comes my request:

ROM builders: Is it possible to make a clean ROM / Lite / Ultra lite ROM with Windows Mobile 6.5???

It would be awesome if it was possible to do the WM 6.5 with i900DXIF1 ...

I really thank you ig some of you guys could answer that.

List of thigs that does not work or that happened with with WM6.5 ROMs (several ones):

UpToDate - A Medical Program

Etiquette Pause

Mouse

Clock Time Zone keeps changing by it self

I just had a blank screen of death - now I have to format!

Programs, keep closing by it self.

Programs keep changing to others by it self.

The only think I'm really going to miss from WM 6.5 are the big menus (they are awesome)

For me the best Lite ROM would be:

Ultra Lite WM 6.1 with big menus and big buttons

With Opera 9.7 and Office included.

All the others programs, we can download ourselves.

I was also looking for such a rom because I immediately put SPBshell 3 over it.

So I only need a very fast rom with standard futures.

Now I'm using Shokka's lite rom WM 6.1 and it's running very stable, but I was wondering if the WM 6.5 roms (lite) will be faster?

I am looking for one rom that doesn't close programs itself...

now I am with DXHL3 From Taril and this is old but I cannot find any bug!!!

Probably I will wait for a final version of wm6.5...

I have seen that new 6.5 have that problem fixed, I tryed but it continues happening...

so DXHL3 is perfect but drivers are not actualizated.

u can try ROM from sock, DXID1... it's a good ROM.

I second this wm6.1 ultra/lite request. The only WM 6.1 DXID1 ROM I found (by s0cks) features loads of standard apps, making it too bloated for my intended use. :-*

WM6.5 is nice in terms of the bigger menus, but I'd rather not have it close running apps randomly or switch to another application by itself. :)

Could anyone fill this rom request? Thanks in advance! ;)

Looks like I missed the new Sinan i900 DXID1 UltraClean WM6.1. Would probably suffice, albeit I have no clue about Samsung Media Server being on there. :D

I'm going back to Wm6.1

I just can't stand the closing applications and SPB mobile shell going back to today screen every 1 minute.

I 've tried lastest ROM July 24 from kuanchai... and still all the bugs persists...

I'll try Sinan's ROM. Ultra Clean WM6.1

I’m running his ROM now, and so far it’s nice and stable! :)

In terms of performance though, I’ve noticed some hiccups when playing some movies every once in a while (prolly due to processes/Email syncing in the background). In my memory, this wasn’t really a problem on the PagePool modded Khunchai WM6.5 ROMs, so I might still try to build my own WM6.1 ROM with a changed PagePool. If only I had more time to mess around learning&building ROMs… ;)

Try this ( it is recommended by Taril)

Included: All samsung programs + Net CF3.5, Taskmanager 3, HTC Emu+HTC Emu Calibration, PimBackup, Opera desktop and handheld with flash, Online Widgets.

No-go for me. I don't like them Samsung programs. :)

yeah...i agree too with raza1.

the important thing is fast ROM and no bugs. and also standard app. :)

i still in love with 6.1 series...hheheheheh..

I agree with all above mentioned. and also must add in the new build of wm6.5 23009 there is also problem exist with the UpToDate.

also I have problem with my farsi language because installing farsi disables typing any language in the g-alarm. I want to downgrade to wm6.1 and also miss big honey comb menus and the new IE.

I would be glad to find a ultra lite medical rom.

It seems we love some features from wm6.5... and aparently it is a bit faster than wm6.1

but on the other hand, it's no good a faster rom that is full of bugs... bluetooth problems, wifi problems.. closing appllications, automatically returning to home screen on ms3 and the most painful: incompatible with some applications that we, from health area must have, like uptodate.

so, i cannot see another option than downgrade to wm6.1, which is more stable.

i will be always on the waiting for a good bug free wm6.5 rom

You are so right! Wm 6.1 is the best for now, but there aren't new roms with it! :) only sinan is creating new wm 6.1 roms.
