Guest geennaam Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 Sorry , but this is soft Reset NOT Hard Reset , if the software can't load , soft reset will not help. HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TO HARD RESET THE DEVICE ???? 1)Turn your I8000 off. 2)Keep the following buttons pressed: the top right button (screenlock) + top left button (volume up) + bottom left button ( dial) 3) Turn on your I9000 (bottom right button) while keeping the buttons in 2) pressed. This will result in a hard reset and restore the WM registry. It will not clear "my storage".
Guest arbi13 Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 I have tried this combination but it doesn't work. My Omnia just start up till the Samsung screen and then it goes to black screen. Guest sonyxperiax2 Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 All the code write above are wrong with B7610. The correct procedure to hard reset the b7610 is to hold all this button: w/l (the one in the left undere volume buttons), the lock button (the one above camera button) and both call butto and close power on button in the front of the phone. Then press again call button to confirm in the new window.

I know your post is old but going through most of the posts in Omnia II community I at times get confused about which phone is Omnia II. My longheld belief if that Omnia II refers to GT-I8000. I have seen several posts refering to i9000 as Omnia II as you have done above. Can anyone educate me?

Guest Darryl of FH Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Omnia I is I900 Omnia II is I8000 And then there is the Verizon Omnia II i920. I believe the I8000 has both front and back cameras, while the i920 only has a back camera.

I can't get hardreset to work as it go right back to the language setup. I have done hardreset many times before but this time I'm totally lost on how do actually get it to hardreset (the hardreset key combo don't make it hardreset...). Any help is much appreciated
