auto frequency not working...

hi all,I live in Slovakia and my Samsung Omnia's radio seems to ignore auto frequency setting. even when I enable it in tge setup screen, the frequencies will not change to better signals of tge same station. On my previous phone tgat was not "smart" i.e. it was classic Sony Ericsson W910i the auto frequency option worked perfectly. do you have any ideas how to solve this?thank you
