Do someone want to try the phone part from different country. Here is a small list for you. Please report if any one of this working on NA 3G. If you know any update phone part. Please let me know. I will update the list.

There's an entire research thread based on this exact topic within this forum. I'm pretty certain that the reason for the i900 incompatibility issue with US 3G isn't a software item, but rather a hardware item. The i900 was originally developed specifically for Europe and Asia frequencies which means that the radio reciever will only accept those frequencies. Enter the i910, which was developed for US. Then there is the i900L, which is a indeed a true quad band phone because it is sold in Latin America where all bb frequencies are transmitted.

I'm sure that someone here will appreciate your contributions because this is still an ongoing research effort.
