transfer text massages to pc

hey guys,

before i am starting an update i want to save all the important text messages. is it possible to save them via mobile device center to my pc? or is this impossible?

It's not possible with Windows Mobile Device Center, but I use a little program called PIM Backup, which saves all your text messages in a file and whenever you want them back, you can restore them. It's nice when messaging starts running slow.
