Removing battery and clock from taskbar.

I have searched around for this but so far I havn't come across anything useful.

I would like to remove the battery indicator and clock from the today screen taskbar in WM 6.5. I am using Batti for my battery and there is a clock on my home screen in M2D so I don't need either of them.

I know you can swap between the two using reg hacks, but I want to get rid of both.

The battery/clock don't show in other windows around the OS so it is only on the Today screen so I can't see any reason why we shouldn't be able to emove them.

Thanks guys

I use to do this with my Wizard long time ago.. but, not sure it works w/ Omnia.

13. Taskbar Date/Time

Registry: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell

Key: TBOpt (dWord)

Value: 0 = Nothing

1 = Time

2 = Date

3 = Time and date

Make Reg change using whatever you want.. wait few sec or mins.. soft reset.

Yea I have tried this regedit but it leaves a big ugly blank spot where it used to be on the taskbar which I think looks worse.

Thanks for tryin thoug. ;)

Isn't there a setting that removes the clock from the taskbar?

My omnia is too far from me right now to reach it and I'm lazy ;)

I'm sure that there's a setting where you can choose to not have the clock in the taskbar (I don't have a clock in my taskbar)

Not sure about battery

I would recommend SK Tools, it has the option to remove both the time and battery as well as a couple other options such as replacing them with the date and time!

Hey thanks for the tip.

I downloaded and installed the trial version which only lets you view 6 items in the lists. I can't seem to find what I am after in the limited version.

I don't think I will buy an application to change one reg key.

Shhame though, it looks like a handy little program.
