help with unlock orange omnia

hi, im new to this so forgive me for any spelling errors. lol. i have a samsung omnia and i brought it with the network orange. i just debranded it so no orange software is on there or anything just samsung. when i go to unlock following the instructions given on this post...http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-http-omnia-modaco-com/277957/unlock-omnia-it-works/

i do all that and then i get given a message saying "faill toset locking status" before i debranded it i had it unlocked and it would let me use other sims. i just want to be able to use it on vodafone.

PDA : i900DXHG4

phone: 1900XXHG5

use the dxid1 rom its the latest (not official yet) and easy to flash if u use the secany version search in the forum for dxid1 secany flash youre phone with the rom and u can use it with all operators
