help with orange samsung omnia i900 signal

i have a samsung i900 omnia and its running:PDA:i900DXHH1/DXHH1

phone:i900DXID1

when i try to call anyone or anything i get a little message pop up from the signal icon "cannot complete the call. the signal may be unavalible or the phone number may not be valid.verify the number or try again later."

i get it every time and i have full signal and the sim isvalid because it works in my other phone.

any help would be very greatfull

is the phone useable on the orange network? have you bought it form the dealer or is it something you have purchased second hand?

i purchased it from orange and then updated it and no it has started doing it. :S i want it to work on vodafone but unlocking it doesnt work either. any help?
