new idea... is it possible?

So I have been using windows mobile 6.5 on my i910 for a while and after seeing the omnia II in action and seeing the idea of their multiple desktops i thought it might be interesting to apply this to a phone with titanium on it.

Would that be possible to have 3 desktops...with different things on it.

The other option be be the ability to hide titanium so that the background just shows through.

I might be on my own here but i kinda feel that having a device with a 3+ inch screen i would like to have my background show as often as possible... not just when its locked.. but on the home screen fully visible when i first turn on my phone.

I hate the widgets but they seem to cater to this the best but they really have no functionality and titanium is the best solution so thats whats what i use.

I use to use SMS2.0 but it didnt seem super functional and it slowed the phone WAYYYYY down.

I'm not sure if you've seen it or want to go this route but SPB Mobile Shell has multiple desktops. It runs well and has more cool functions. You might want to try it out if you haven't yet.

Or the simple program"mToday" lets you switch easily between today screen profiles. For example, I might set Widgets to "Profile 1", and M2D to "Profile 2". Unfortunately, you can only have 2 profiles at a time, but you could have Titanium/M2D, Titanium/Widget, M2D/Widget, etc. I can't offer any help for the background part, though.
