Tg01 Ram Size

Isn't it suppose to be 256mb?

or 183mb, as it is what shows up on my orange dvice.

i can confirm my orange TG01 showing 183Mb of ram. I think its due to the system holding back certain amouts for its own purposes. Though i'm not sure on this.

Same here- if it's the same as with the Diamond, the 64MB Video RAM doesn't get included in the memory count though it is quoted in the specs, hence the difference.

Same on the samsung Omnia, you have a big max of 60 Mb free ram on the supposed 128mb, the rest is taken by the system.

183 Mb, that means three times what I have on my old omnia ........;-)

That 183 is before the system loads. After a soft reset, and with Mobile Shell loaded I have 74MB free. I think it was about the same with the Toshiba front end.
