Guest Lakjin Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 Hello, I am using my Omnia on T-Mobile. As some of you may know, T-Mobile uses an SMS-to-Email gateway to allow people to easily send messages to e-mail addresses without having to send an "MMS" technically speaking. The difference between an "SMS to email" and an "MMS to email" is in how the message/e-mail appears to the recipient. Anyway, my question is does anyone know how to prevent the Omnia from turning the message into an MMS automatically once an e-mail address has been entered in the "To" field? That way if it just lets me send it as an SMS, T-Mobile will handle the rest. Thanks!
Guest Zealster Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 I think that's a Windows thing. :$ I'm no expert, but I thought you had to send it as an MMS if you sent it to an e-mail. Even on my old T-mobile phone it sent as MMS to an e-mail. Anyways, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one on T-Mobile with an Omnia. Well I'm not U.S. T-Mobile which is pretty different than Europe.
